Job Description

Tacoma, Washington has prospered as a port town for many years.
Our kaiten-zushi restaurant is in Tacoma, and has been loved by locals for 10 years.

All of our sushi is handmade.

We run a popular restaurant that sees many customers, who enjoy our wide selection of menu items and high-quality dishes.

Specific job details:
• Sushi preparation
• Serving customers over the counter
• Guiding our kitchen staff to heighten the level of our cuisine

Requirements

＜Experience・Skills＞ ・Someone with experience as a chef in the Japanese restaurant industry ・3 or more years of experience preparing sushi ・Someone who is confident in their ability to handle fish ・Someone knowledgeable of Japanese sake ・Japanese: native level 　English: daily conversational level (desired) 　Other languages: not required ※We currently have one Japanese member on our staff who you can follow-up with ＜Desired Traits＞ ・Someone who enjoys interacting with a diverse group of customers 　Tacoma has been long-established as a prosperous port city, 　and it is an area where many people of Japanese/Asian decent call home. 　Our restaurant is popularly well-known for our great service. 　We are looking for someone who holds Japanese customer service values dear to their heart. ・Someone who does not mind studying English
