Reach out via the form below. Upon receiving your inquiry, we arrange an online consultation to discuss your hiring needs.
We provide a draft agreement, a Job Description (JD) form, and a sample job ad — all available in both Japanese and English.
You complete the JD form and submit the photos you would like to use in the job advertisement.
Upon signing the agreement, we issue an invoice. Once payment is confirmed, we begin creating your job listing.
We send you a preview PDF of the job posting (JP/EN). Upon your approval, the ad goes live on the WashokuJob platform.
As applications come in, we forward each candidate’s details — name, contact, years of experience, specialty, and language ability.
Contact candidates directly. Request the documents you need for selection (CV, work history, photos of dishes and knives, etc.) and proceed with interviews.
Send a formal offer letter to your chosen candidate. Once both parties sign and agree, the hire is finalized. Please inform WashokuJob of the confirmed start date.
North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania —
Japanese restaurants in every region are welcome to use WashokuJob.
The talent that will shape your restaurant’s future is waiting here.
To ensure a smooth hiring process and secure top Washoku talent, we recommend the following best practices.
Remember that candidates are evaluating your offer just as much as you are evaluating them. If applicants feel uncertain, it can lead to declined offers or other issues.
Clearly state the expected hiring timeline; available support such as visa sponsorship, housing/relocation assistance, insurance, and paid holidays; and compensation and bonus structures. Transparency builds trust and attracts more applicants.
Respond to inquiries quickly and keep in regular contact throughout the process. Delays may cause candidates to feel uncertain and decline your offer.
Japanese candidates may understate their language ability. “I don’t speak English” may mean they genuinely cannot, are simply being modest, or can hold a conversation but aren’t fluent. Please assess language proficiency directly during the interview.
