Job Description

The owner is a Japanese chef who opened a restaurant within a hotel 30 years ago that continues to be adored by its customers to this very day.
This restaurant was opened with the desire to have German people enjoy delicious sushi.
Today, the restaurant’s interior features a teppanyaki area, sushi counter, and Japanese-style table seating.

Currently, we are looking to hire someone who will be an immediate asset to our teppanyaki experience.

★ Main Job Duties ★
Teppanyaki cooking and preparation, customer service
Since the restaurant also offers sushi and Japanese cuisine, we are seeking those who are flexible and willing to work in all areas and be responsible for sushi and general Japanese food in the future while we are assembling rotations.

The restaurant is owned and operated by a married couple and provides an at-home dining atmosphere.

Requirements & Notes

【Washokujob’s Points of Recommendation】
◇ Environment that you can work in with peace of mind
We currently have 17 employees, and many of them have been employed here for over 10 years.
Some people leave the restaurant to return to Japan or work in another country, but they come back because we provide a stable, comfortable working environment.
◇ Good Benefits
For the average restaurant in Germany, the salary is commonly around €2,000 per month. The owner is offering a salary higher than the market price as he wants his employees to work with as sense of security.
◇ Nice Owner
On the New Year's holiday in 2017, the owner actually came to visit Washokujob’s HQ, and he was very kind.
He is a hard working and determined person who, after also living in Africa, has lived in Germany for 30 years.
◇ All of the Flexibility is Appealing
While travel expenses and rent are to be covered by the employee, please feel free to talk to us about your current situation and we may be able to negotiate different terms!

If you would like to work in Germany and have a taste of the European lifestyle,
