Job Description

Enjoy the luxurious flavor of our Wagyu beef.
We offer an omakase course meal at the counter where guests can use all five senses for a sophisticated experience while enjoying our lovely wagyu beef preparations.

Price per customer: evening omakase course ranges from 12,000 JPY (rate as of June 2018)
Number of seats: 10 seats/counter; 26 seats/tables

Work as a chef at our Japanese-style barbecue restaurant in Singapore.
You will make purchases for wagyu and other ingredients, as well as preparing the food while making use of each part of the product.
Staff training, inventory management, order management, menu development, kitchen staff management, kitchen side shift management are all required duties.

Requirements & Notes

◇ About tax:
Please consider tax as about 7-8% of annual income. We will inform you on how to properly pay taxes.
Of course, actually paying the taxes will be the candidate’s personal responsibility. It is an absolute requirement when going abroad. The same is true for insurance.

◇ About Cost of Living/Family Expenses:
When trying to migrate in Singapore with a family of three or four people, rent will likely cost 2500 SGD and up.
Costs outside of transportation are also quite high, and your child’s education will also be expensive.
• It is a minimum of 1200SGD per month for kindergarten and a minimum of 2000 SGD per month for elementary school.

Many people travel to Singapore on their own for the first few years, and then move their family over once their salary has increased and they have more stability.

Holidays

6 days off per month: as the head chef, you will schedule and manage shifts Paid time off and vacation days: There is no paid vacation for the three-month trial period. After officially being hired: 1st year: 12 days 2nd year: 13 days From 3rd year and on: 14 days (This is in compliance with Singapore’s government regulations)

Requirements

High school degree and above Cooking experience of over 10 years People who have skills and knowledge to make use of all products/cuts of the Japanese beef Personality Traits: Because our main attraction is serving customers at the counter, we are looking for someone cheerful, with a bright smile Language: Japanese / preferred. English is required if you cannot speak Japanese. Those who can speak English with the customers at the counter
