Job Description

This sushi restaurant earned a Michelin-star in Tokyo and is now opening a new location in Taiwan within a 5-star hotel as of 11/2019! It is an upscale location of the same brand!

The omakase-course will cost 33,000JPY per person.
We are looking to hire a manager who will help foster the success of our new location.

The owner and head chef has been in the business for 22 years.
After working for a long time at a famous restaurant in Ginza, he opened his own restaurant a few years ago.
He has an eye for great customer service and class, and has obtained 2 Michelin-stars thus far.

All of the ingredients are imported from Japan, and we wants the Taipei location to please guests just the same as the other locations.
We are eagerly awaiting a passionate manager for this position!

Job Description
・General management of front of house staff
・Hiring and training of staff, assistants, and supervisors
・Sales management and analysis
・Event planning and execution
・Writing reports to the upper-management

In the future...
・We are looking to open a location in Hong Kong within the next three years, followed by Shanghai and elsewhere overseas. If you have a desire to work abroad, this could be your opportunity to further your career!

・There are many inexpensive flights between Taiwan and Japan, as they are close, making it easy to travel to and from each country
・Taiwan's political climate is safe, and has a good relationship with Japan and Japanese people
・Within the city, there are many Japanese convenience stores and drug stores, with Japanese written on the packaging. There are even Japanese department stores, so adjusting to life in Taiwan shouldn't be too difficult.
