Job Description

This Omakase sushi restaurant that opened at the end of 2019 is currently seeking to increase their Japanese sushi chefs on staff.
All of their ingredients are imported from Japan. The counter seats 14 guests, and the cost per customer on the Omakase menu is 25,000JPY.
The owner and head chef is a Japanese man in his mid 30s. Currently, there are two kitchen staff, and three front of house local staff members.

Job Details：
・Preparation
・Preparing food at the counter, interacting with customers
・Creating small plate dishes in the kitchen
and other duties all relating to the culinary process

Requirements & Notes

Hiring Process：

・First Interview：Online vis SKYPE or LINE with the head chef
・On-site Test: company will cover relocation and boarding
・Decision

Probation Period：
　3 months (benefits/pay remain the same)

【Required】 ・5 or more years of culinary experience with Washoku or sushi ・Can prepare general boiled, fried, and grilled Washoku dishes ・Native level Japanese speaker ・Desire to learn English (or currently an English speaker) 【Preferred】 ・Experience serving and interacting with customers over the counter 【Desired Traits】 ・Flexible, self-starter that will help us improve our restaurant ・Respects the team with sincerity; a team player ・Desire to provide customers with a wonderful food and service experience
