Job Description

Situated in Mexico City, the capital with a population of over 9 million and the largest city in Central and South America, this restaurant has been an established Japanese dining destination for over 20 years. With a core mission to introduce Japanese sushi and cuisine to the people of Mexico, the restaurant endeavors with its staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Having expanded to 7 branches, including two new openings last year, the restaurant is now seeking a Japanese chef who can take charge of \"Quality Management and Improvement\" and \"Training Mexican Staff.\"

Positions Available:

Head Chef Candidate or Experienced Cook
Responsibilities:

General sushi work
Quality management and improvement
Cost management
Staff training
New menu development, etc.

36,000 USD plus performance based bonus

Holidays

[Work Days and Hours] - Working hours: Approximately 10 hours per day, typically from 11:00 to 17:00 and 19:00 to 23:00, with one day off per week on a rotating shift basis. - Weekly Day Off : 1 day [Leave] - Paid vacation: Employees are entitled to 14 days of paid vacation per year after one year of service, in accordance with Mexican labor law.

Requirements

Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a sushi chef. Language: English speaking skill is not required, but preferred.
