We are urgently seeking a Japanese chef to help with the launch of our new restaurant in Ahmadabad, the major city of the province of Gujarat.
This restaurant is inside a guest house where many Japanese expats stay.

• Preparation/Cooking of general Japanese cuisine
• Kitchen management
• Staff guidance

※Many of our guests are long-term residents working for Japanese companies. And because we want them to feel entertained and relaxed, we are hoping to hire someone with experience in Kaiseki cuisine.

We’ve opened a NEW guest house in addition to our existing one.

Since we now have an additional location, we are looking for another head chef to work in cycles with our currently head chef between both guest house restaurants.

Our other staff members are local residents.
This also includes some staff members who have worked at our previous restaurant.
While working together with the head chef and owner,
we will have you guide our staff to create authentic Japanese cuisine.

Requirements & Notes

We are looking for Japanese chefs/head chef at this restaurant’s new location.
The restaurant is located inside a guest house that caters to employees of Japanese companies.
The provided housing is a beautiful room within the guest house.
We currently have about 20 staff on duty at this location.

The room is about 200 sq. ft and has a shower and toilet.
You’ll have unlimited access to Wi-Fi and can watch Japanese television!
Our cleaning service is also included, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

With so many basic necessities provided, you’ll be able to save up your money!
We also offer various forms of compensation for exceptional employees, so your hard work will be well worth it!

Requirements

• Candidates with 8 or more years of experience in Kaiseki cuisine Or cooking experience with general Japanese cuisine for 15-20 years • Experience in kitchen management • English: Daily conversation level ※ Looking for candidates who are flexible and enjoy challenging themselves in new environments ※ English is mostly used in the workplace, but if you can speak even basic English (daily conversational level) that will be OK! (Interviews will be held in English)
