【Hiring Process】
・Resume Screening: Registry of resume on Washokujob's MyPage, submission of face photo and 10 photos of prepared dishes
・1st Interview: Online
・2nd Interview: Cooking test in Shanghai. (travel/boarding expenses covered by company)

【A Message from the Owner】
I've been to many places throughout Asia, and Jakarta is one of the most wonderful cities. The average age of Indonesian citizens is young, and it is a country with bountiful hope for a bright future. Our restaurant is in the heart of the city, on the second floor in an upscale residence neighborhood.

The first floor houses a Thai restaurant owned by our partners, and we share the second floor with an upscale Jakartan whiskey bar.
We are next to the bar and our counter seats 19 guests. And we have plans to open 2 private dining areas in the restaurant soon.
The bartender at the whiskey bar is Japanese as well, so you can become good friends.

This position does not require English language ability, but we will ask that you look the terms associated with Indonesian cuisine so you can communicate with our staff. Our Indonesian staff is full of nice people. but it may be a bit tricky. Please give your best effort into creating a wonderful team!

I recently went to Bali to buy wood for our counter.
It was an hour-long flight, so it will be easy for you to visit after you start working here.

Additionally, we own a pottery workshop in Shanghai, and are able to borrow our colleague's workshop here in Jakarta, too, where we make plates. You can even try making some plates you would like, too!

Since our restaurant is new, you can help us develop the menu, choose music for the restaurant, and more.

I've known our head chef for 10 years, and he has been the head chef for over four of our locations.
