Job Description

We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Head Chef at a Japanese restaurant in Alicante, Valencia, Spain. We are looking for someone who can skillfully utilize local fresh ingredients with Japanese culinary techniques and contribute to creating a restaurant that brings joy to the local community.

Our restaurant, opened near the sea in 2022, aspires to earn a Michelin star. We offer creative kaiseki and sushi courses, with a focus on periodically developing new menus. Alicante provides an abundance of fresh seafood, and we encourage incorporating local ingredients into our sushi and other dishes.

Income

Annual Salary Range : EUR 22,200 ～ 25,400

Holidays

【Working Hours】 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM (Working hours may vary based on the situation). 【Weekly Working Days】 5 days a week (2 days off per week). 【Paid Holidays】 One month of paid holidays per year.

Requirements

Qualifications Experience: Candidates with cooking experience in Japanese cuisine restaurants, ryotei (traditional Japanese inns), sushi shops, etc. Required Documents: For applying for a work visa in the Japanese cuisine category, proof of social insurance payments totaling two or more years is required.
