We are currently recruiting an experienced Head Chef for our Japanese restaurant, \"Kanpachi,\" which operates three locations and is expanding in Malaysia. Established as a long-standing Japanese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, we prioritize the use of high-quality ingredients imported from Japan, ensuring the provision of top-tier dishes such as tempura and sashimi.

【Responsibilities】
Continuous provision of high-quality dishes and overall improvement activities
Cost calculation and cost management of provided menus to meet quality standards, including menu changes and the creation of new dishes
Proper handling and management of all food items
Instruction of all kitchen tasks while maintaining communication with other chefs and responsible departments
Engaging with customers to secure repeat business, gathering feedback
Operation of the kitchen within approved budgets, ensuring appropriate staffing, hygiene, and safety management
Training of kitchen staff for skill improvement
Confirmation of proper maintenance of all kitchen facilities
Coordination with the purchasing department for necessary product acquisitions
Proactive handling of customer issues and complaints

Performance evaluation, promotion, and salary increase
Training and specialized advice for kitchen staff (cooking, presentation, etc.)
Establishment of preparation procedures and high-quality presentation
Creating an atmosphere for staff to share ideas and engage in discussions
