Job Description

Currently, there is a significant increase in demand for sushi in South Korea, but the reality is that there are very few well-known sushi brands. Therefore, we are seeking a skilled sushi chef who can join us to establish and run a new sushi brand in collaboration with a Michelin-acclaimed restaurant. Our goal is to provide authentic Japanese sushi at a mid-range price. Chef with branding minded with a management skill is preferred.

【Opening Schedule】
Summer to Fall 2023
The goal is to open within 3 months of hiring through this recruitment.

【Location】
Yeouido, Seoul
Yeouido is an office district with the South Korean National Assembly, and it is conveniently located near the Han River, a popular leisure spot for Seoul citizens.

Income

Requirements

【Application Requirements】 Experience: More than 5 years of practical experience in a Japanese sushi restaurant. Candidates with experience working in well-known sushi restaurants (Michelin-listed, etc.) are welcome, and those with management experience will be preferred. Due to the visa requirements for working in Korea (E-7 Visa - Specialized Activity), a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary. Language: Japanese Speaking Skill: Native Level Other languages: Basic proficiency in English or Korean is preferred, but not mandatory at the application stage. Knowledge of Japanese is essential, as there are Japanese-speaking staff locally. Language support for learning Korean will be provided to those selected, as it is beneficial for living and working in the local environment.
