Job Description

About 30-40 minutes by car from the heart of Melbourne.
Many tourists, both from Australia and overseas, will come to visit
this popular spot in this public national park.

This national public park is surrounded by nature,
and it is here where the Kaiseki restaurant will be opened!

On the 14,000 square meter property, there will be an agricultural garden, fruit orchard, and greenhouse
that focus on growing organic ingredients to create dishes that take both
new and traditional flavors to create an upscale Washoku experience.

It seats 28 guests, with private rooms, a bar, and a terrace.

The head chef was also hired through Washokujob and is very gentle and easy to talk to.
He has experience with Kaiseki and working abroad as well, and has achieved two Michelin stars.

They are currently looking to hire a new sous-chef.
You will learn Kaiseki under the head chef, and gradually
be asked to take over when the head chef is not present.

Requirements

Experience:Graduated from culinary school: 2 or more years of Washoku experience post-graduation    Did not graduate from culinary school: 4 or more years of Washoku experience Language:Confidence in English communication skills for interview     Candidate who can achieve 5.0 or higher on IELTS desired ※You will need a score of 5.0 or greater on the IELTS English language exam to obtain a visa If you cannot pass right away, the company will pay for you to attend and English language school as you work during your probation period. Other: Candidate who plans to relocate alone preferred (for ease of visa acquisition)
